The development will feature a range of premium amenities such as in-unit laundry, walk-in closets, a dog park, playground, fitness center, community clubhouse, and an outdoor pool. This project underscores Talon Development’s commitment to enhancing communities through thoughtful design and strategic partnerships.
Elizabeth Kelsey, a reporter for the Telegraph Herald, was in attendance and shared: “Construction is poised to begin on a more-than-$50 million project that will bring 390 market-rate apartments to Dubuque’s West End.
About 25 people gathered at the end of Plaza Drive on Tuesday for a groundbreaking ceremony for the Fox Hills Apartments.
The development is slated to bring 13 apartment buildings, each with 30 units, to a parcel located just behind Blain’s Farm & Fleet. Plans also call for detached garages, a community building and amenities such as a swimming pool, dog park, playground and more.
“I know there’s a lot of pent-up excitement around this project,” said Josh Kruger, president of Talon Development and Eagle Construction, the companies behind the project. “We’ll be here for a while, and hopefully, we leave a lasting positive impact on Dubuque. We’re head-over-heels excited to get started.” Read more from the Telegraph Herald.
