The project developed by Talon Development and built by Eagle Construction, will include four apartment buildings, 15 townhome buildings, and a clubhouse all planned to be completed over a 36-38 month period.
PowderHaus will feature unique and high-demand amenities both indoors and outdoors within the community.

Indoor amenities will include golf simulators, a large fitness center, dog wash, automated parcel rooms, arcade, and a conference room.
Floorplans will range from studio through three-bedroom units. The units will have a modern feel including stainless steel appliances, upgraded countertops with islands, hard surface flooring in living spaces, and sleek design finishes throughout. In-unit amenities will include key fob access, in-unit laundry, balconies, and work-from-home spaces in every unit. All utilities, including Fiber internet and TV, will be included in the rent.
Talon Development is based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and has grown since it’s inception in 2018 with projects spanning over 17 different cities and towns throughout South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. PowderHaus will be the first multifamily development in Sioux Falls for Talon and aims to create not only a community but an entire neighborhood. The development will be within walking distance of the new eastside Ben Reifel Middle School and Inspiration Elementary School. With an abundance of onsite amenities and future retail and shopping planned for the area, residents of PowderHaus will have everything they need within walking distance.
President of Talon Development and Eagle Construction, Josh Kruger, is excited to bring this new development to Sioux Falls stating “PowderHaus Apartments and Townhomes will be a great addition to the eastside of Sioux Falls. Residents will have the simplicity of having all utilities, internet, and TV included along with a work-from-home space in each unit. With the variety of floorplans and amenities between the apartments and townhomes, PowderHaus offers residents the ability to live, work, and play all in one convenient location.”
The first buildings are set to open late Fall of 2022 and are now available to prelease. A groundbreaking ceremony will take place later this month.
